Polish Association of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (PTPAiIO)

 

 

Polish Association of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (PTPAiIO) is a formal network of anaesthesia and critical care nurses in Poland. PTPAiIO was registered to the National Court of Register in 1997. Since its inception the mission of the PTPAiIO is to promote collaboration among the anaesthesia and critical care nurses and improve nursing care of critically ill patients and their families. PTPAiIO is a member of international societies of anesthesia and intensive care nurses - European Federation of Intensive Care Nurses Associations (EfCCNa), the World Federation of Anesthesia Nurses (IFNA) and World Federation of Critical Care Nurses Associations (WFCCNA). The official scientific journal of PTPAiIO - Anesthesia and Intensive Care Nursing is regularly published by editor Evereth Publishing.

 

The main aims of PTPAiIO are:

  1. To maintain and support educational and scientific activities in the field of anesthesia and intensive care nursing and other nursing specialties.
  2. To ensure continuing development of professional skills of members.
  3. To pay attention to ethical competencies of members.

 

The aim of PTPAiIO is to strengthen the cooperation with the scientific societies, local and national levels authorities responsible for nurses and midwives work condition of in Poland.
